How to update Micromax A116 Canvas HD with Official Android 4.2.1 ROM via Manual Method

Micromax has officially Android 4.2.1 Jellybean update for MMX A116 Canvas HD. Till now this update was available through service centers only but now you can apply it without visiting any of the service centers. First Method
In the first method you have to visit your nearby service center. There ask their representatives for applying the latest update. They will themselves install latest Android ROM on your Canvas HD.

Manual Method
If there is no service center around your area then you can try this manual method. Before going any further, please read these pre-requisites completely. Now read and perform following steps carefully:

1. Download Android 4.2.1 ROM Package and SP Flash tools to your computer.
2. Extract both the files to any location (which can be accessed easily). If you are prompted anywhere for password then enter: mustafawahab999
3. Now open SP Flash Tool and hit the Scatter Loading option. After this select Scatter Loading file.
4. Now choose USB option and hit the Firmware Update option.
5. Switch OFF your Canvas HD and connect it via USB cable to your computer.
6. ROM installation will start automatically. It will take around 2-3 minutes for completion.

After this reboot your phone (if possible then reboot it by removing the battery). After rebooting the phone you will get come notifications regarding TP (Touch Panel) configuration. Do not touch any point on the screen, TP configuration will update automatically.
