Lava Iris 504Q launched with gesture interface and other features detail
Lava today has launched an Android 4.2 Jellybean based gesture controlled smartphone dubbed Lava Iris 504Q. This phone is packed with some amazing specs which are really hard to believe (when seen from price aspect). Well with this phone, Lava has joined the league which is already headed by various well established tech firms like Micromax, Karbonn, Lenovo etc.
This phone comes with a very attractive rubber + plastic body which provide handful gripping even under wet conditions. It comes with a complete phablet screen of 5 inch measure. With its specs and price, it will give handful competition to gadgets like MMX A116 Canvas HD, Xolo A1000 etc. It can even compete with big names like Galaxy Grand. I will try to jot down all these comparisons in coming days but for now let me take you to a complete tour of specs of Iris 504Q.
Lava Iris 504Q features
As I said earlier, it houses a 5 inch screen with 1280x720 pixels resolution. Resolution seems pretty good (however not outstanding too) for a small firm. It flaunts a sleek body of approx 9.6 mm thickness. It runs on latest Android 4.2.1 Jellybean OS which pushes it ahead of all its competitors. It is powered by a MediaTek MT6589 chipped processor with quad core CPU and 1.2 GHz clocking. Further 1 GB RAM and dedicated GPU is there which are going to amaze you with world class multi-tasking and graphics experience. All the specs which we have discussed till now are amazing and can challenge any high end smartphone.
It is a dual SIM phone with 8 MP AF rear and VGA front facing camera. LED flash and noise cancellation mic are there which adds accuracy to the whole system. Noise cancellation mic is something new and according to developers it can prove its real worth with audio and video parts. It houses 4 GB internal memory which is expandable up to 32 GB.
It supports all major and minor connectivity tools (Wi-Fi, GPS. Bluetooth, 3G etc). There is nothing new at this end. It comes with a 2000 mAh battery which provides up to 11 hours talk time with normal usage.
According to Lava, this mobile can work with gestures and they have shown it in a 6 second video on their FB page. This feature surely needs a longer video and we are waiting for that. However you can expect it to be a gesture controlled device which can be interfaced with simple gestures.
