How to root, un-root any Karbonn Android Smartphone/Tablet

Karbonn is an India based electronic company which is growing very fast. Trust wise it gives head to head fight to well established Indian giant Micromax. Till now Karbonn has launched several Android Smartphone’s, Phablets and Tablets. I am receiving lots of queries regarding rooting guide for various Karbonn devices. So here I am addressing all those requests in form of an easy common guide which will root almost all your Karbonn Android devices. This guide is developed especially for Karbonn devices with Android 4.0 ICS or above so please don’t try it on other devices.

This guide can be performed on following phones (I’m preparing this list very carefully but please correct me if you find any wrong or non-Android ICS devices here):

• S2 Titanium
• S1 Titanium
• Retina A27
• A37
• A30
• A111
• A11
• A21
• A12
• A9 Plus etc

I am not including any Karbonn tablet here but you can try it on all Karbonn tablets which run on Android 4.0 ICS+ OS.

How to root Karbonn devices
AS I said earlier I is a common tutorial which is valid for all above listed smartphone’s (I know lot of names are missing in above list, please add them in comments) so you have to perform a common tutorial for all kinds of phones.

Now one serious thing, the instant you will root your device, you will lose official warranty on it. So please take rooting decision with calm mind. Also before rooting, please read and follow these pre-requisites completely. These will protect your device from rooting time hazardous.

So once you have followed all the pre-requisites, you can head further with following steps:
1. Download Rooting Tool and Drivers for your phone (on your PC). Please select the appropriate driver according to your model number (if you have some doubts with driver part then please drop your device name in comment section, I’ll provide you the required one).
2. Extract the downloaded rooting tool.
3. With help of USB chord, connect your mobile/tablet to your computer.
4. Visit extracted file and open RunMe.bat file.
5. After this you will get one prompt window where you will be guided by various on-screen instructions.
6. Enter 1 for rooting there or enter x for un-rooting (if you want to un-root your phone).

Wait for some minutes till installation gets completed. Now reboot (start) your phone and enjoy with rooted environment. You can check rooting status with help of Root Checker app from Play Store.
