How to root and install CWM Recovery on Micromax A115 Canvas HD

Now you can very well root and use ClockworkMod (CWM) recovery on your Micromax A115 Canvas 3D. MMX A115 is the first Micromax smartphone which supports 3D interface. It flaunts a big 5 inch stereoscopic 3D display with Android 4.1.2 Jellybean and 1 GHz dual core processor.

During its launch, there were several confusions about its 3D interface. Most of the users were expecting a complete 3D interfaces surface but fortunately/un-fortunately it came with inbuilt 3D games, apps and 3D video player. In all it is a high end MMX model which is stuffed with attractive 3D items.

Rooting will void your A115’s warranty and there will be almost no chances of getting it back. Installing CWM Recovery will give you the chance to use newly build Android 4.1.2or 4.2 Jellybean ROMs (when they will be available). So both the things comes with respective pros and cons. Before recovery installation, you need to root your A115. You can get all rooting instructions from here. Also don’t forget to check major pre-requisites prior to rooting. So by assuming that you have rooted your Canvas HD, here I am giving further details about flashing CWM Recovery file:
1. Download:
• Recovery File (to computer)
• MU App (to mobile)
2. By using USB chord, transfer the downloaded Recover File to external SD card of A115.
3. Run the MU App and select Update Recovery option. After this, select the transferred Recovery File. In case if you are getting some problems then please rename Recovery file as recovery.img in computer itself (means you have to restart your process from 1st step again).
4. It will flash CWM Recovery on your A115 and will boot you to Recovery Mode. Select Reboot option and wait for first boot.
