How To: Official Android 4.4.2 KitKat update for Samsung Galaxy Note 2 (including India)

Samsung has started flooring down Android 4.4.2 KitKat update for Galaxy Note 2. This update is for GT-N7100 model and can’t be applied on other variants. All Note 2 users were waiting from several months for this official KitKat update. Now once again Samsung has started focusing on KitKat updates. Yesterday we have seen Galaxy Tab 3 8.0 to get official KitKat update and now it’s the turn of Note 2. Galaxy Note is a popular smartphone series from Samsung that covers a major Samsung users group. This official update is in its very first phase and is launched in very limited region only. We can expect it to spread around the world in best time (however it might take few months even).

This official KitKat update is going to bring all new KitKat features on your Note 2 device. It includes better and smooth UI, support to wireless printing, new emojis etc. With this official update you will also get new status bar (white color), Samsung Wallet and KNOX apps directly on your smart device. This update is also supposed to make positive changes on UI, lock screens, camera and messaging services. In a nutshell this update will upgrade your Note 2 with new dimensions that are creative than ever. All these tweaks will directly affect the overall performance of the smartphone.

Update Samsung Galaxy Note 2 with Official Android 4.4.2 KitKat ROM

As I already told you that this update is developed exclusively for Note 2 having model number GT-NT100. It means it can be applied on this ingle device only so please don’t try it on some other variant. As of now it is launched in France as initial phase. If you are living in France then you can directly update your Note 2 with help of Kies software. All the Kies instructions will be there on manual and you need to follow them accordingly.

I hope Samsung will very soon release it in other countries too (through OTA method). Talking about India then we can hope it to get live here within a couple of months now. It might take less or more months also (it all will depend on various conditions). I will cover this buzz (KitKat for Indian Galaxy Note 2 smartphone) in coming days too and will notify you once it will go live here. So please be stay tuned with us.
