Samsung is all set to add one more device to its Galaxy portfolio. This time it’s time for Galaxy Core: a dual core smartphone. From overall specs, Galaxy Core seems to be an entry level phone. Talking about the market then it is flooded with variety of entry level smartphones (specs wise, most of them matches with Galaxy Core even), so it is really hard to understand what Samsung is thinking all about but surely they are having some plans or they are trying one new price slot with their huge turn over.

It is a sleek and light device with usual front and rear parts. It measures approx 8.95 mm thickness and 124 grams weight. It comes with usual three touch sensitive buttons at front and main camera at rear.one thing to be noticed here is its thickness. 8.95 mm is really a very sleek dimension which gives Galaxy Core a positive edge when compared with other entry level smartphones. JB environment itself adds plethora of software features like gesture typing, smooth transitions etc. Further it is powered by a 1.2 GHz dual core processor having 1 GB RAM which means it is ready to give superb multi-tasking experience.

It is equipped with 8 GB internal and 32 GB external memory chips. Further 5 MP rear and VGA front cameras are ready to give smooth experience to camera lovers. Both camera and memory specs of Galaxy Core seems very legit according to entry level tag.

It supports all major connectivity tools and is integrated with 1800 mAh average battery. It is an average mobile when seen from connectivity and battery point of view. So all in all it is a good piece from Samsung which might defame all other entry level smartphones.

Galaxy Core will be a good buy only if it will be priced in between $200-300 range. If it comes with higher price tag then please go with other smartphones like Canvas HD, Canvas 4 etc as they are stuffed with advanced specs than Core.
