How to install official Android 4.2.2 on Xperia ZL
This update can be applied in two ways:
1. This update is rolled out OTA which means you will have to wait for the time when it will be ported to your region. You can apply this update only after it is valid in your region. It might take few weeks to reach out to your region. So once the update will be valid in your area, you will receive automatic notification. You just need to follow some onscreen steps. In case you haven’t received any notification then you can try from Settings> About this phone> Software update> system updates path.
2. Second method is a manual method. This method is for experts only. This update can be applied through Flash Tool. You can download the firmware package from here. Please don’t try this method if you are beginner to Android world or you have null experience with Android rooting and all.
Please use first method i.e. OTA in presence of very high speed internet connection only.
