XXAMC4 Android 4.1.2 Jellybean ROM update for Samsung Galaxy Fame

Here comes one more official update from Samsung. This time the update is for Samsung Galaxy Fame S6810. This high end smartphone was just launched this year in March and after 2 months it has received its first Android update.

This ROM is dubbed as XXAMC4 and is based on Android 4.1.2 Jellybean ROM. This smartphone flaunts a 3.5 inch capacitive screen with 1 GHz processor and Android 4.1.2 Jellybean inside. So basically it is not a ROM upgrade rather it is a software update which will close down all your previous bugs. After buying Galaxy Fame, Samsung received various feedbacks regarding poor camera and overheating problems. So by this update, Samsung is responding to all those complains as it will solve all overheating and camera related bugs. Further your phone will keep running on same interface with similar options.

This ROM is not going to void your phone’s warranty so don’t worry about security issues. You can apply this update using Odin tool which is one of the easiest way of flashing. So in all it is an easy and safe update which you can try with one internet connection only.

How to install XXAMC4 based Android 4.1 ROM on Samsung Galaxy Fame

I am describing the complete process in 3 easy steps. All the steps are arranged in sequential mode so please read and understand carefully.

STPE I
Though it is an official update but still it can harm your device. In order to avoid all such risks, it is ad vised to follow some pre-requisites. You can get complete list of pre-requisites from here.

STEP II
Download:
• Android 4.1 ROM kit
• Odin tool
to your computer.

Download Mode Boot
It is required in third step. So to boot to download mode, first turn OFF your Fame and then turn it ON while pressing and holding Vol. Down + Menu keys.
