Blackberry 10 was just announced recently and now it has received its first OTA update. Here I am going to give you complete details about this new update for all BB10 devices. This new update has fixed almost all the bugs and has brought some required modifications in the whole system. Being an OTA update it comes with easy implementation and better security. To fix current bugs and bringing new modifications in a newly launched system is a good and appreciable move by Blackberry. This new update is very good when seen from third party apps vision. It brings more freedom and smoothness to all of them.
BB10 first OTA update
BB10 version is updated to BB10.0.10.85 which comes with better smoothness and functions. It covers following functions:

This new version betters low light image capturing performance which is a good feature. Apart from this, they have also worked on new browser for media playback which will play all the tracks more efficiently. This update proves best for battery compartment. According to officials they have done about 60 changes in their current battery compartment which will increase usage time per cycle to some surprise-able level.
How to apply OTA BB10 update on Blackberry Z10
You will be default receive notification about this software update. But just in rare case if you haven’t received the notification then go to Settings>>Software Updates>>Check for Updates path and check out for new updates. Follow all onscreen instructions and download the ROM file which is 150 MB in space.
Tip
Please try this OTA update in presence of some strong internet connection. I will prefer Wi-Fi here as it comes with best network/speed for all such update cases.
