Official GUIDE: How to Root Moto E Smartphone Officially

Motorola E is a power packed smartphone that is like a wonder for all mobile seekers who are looking for buying a sub 10K phone. It has emerged out as one of the best Android smartphone under Rs. 10K price tab (even I would love to ay 7K only). there was a time when it was giving hard time to lot of Indian smartphones like (Canvas 2, Canvas HD, Titanium S5 even) but lately Indian companies came up with smartphones like MMC Unite, Intex Aqua etc which are competing well with Moto E. But Moto E still holds an upper hand when it comes to company repo and trust. We can’t compare Micromax or Lava or Intex with Motorola. They are counted as one of the best company of its class when it comes to customer’s satisfaction.

Talking about Moto E then it is already stuffed with lot of high end features that are superb in all manners. But I know there will be some users for which sky is the only limit and they want more functions inside their Moto E smartphone. Company understand this thing so they have granted access to boot loader unblock scheme for Moto E. with this process you can root your Moto E smartphone in an official manner. After rooting, you can try various custom and 3rd arty applications, ROMs, launchers on your Moto E. In usual cases (like Karbonn, MMX, Sony, Samsung also) company’s hardly comes with such official bootloader unblock scheme. In such cases user has to try some alternate (mainly 3rd party app) to root their devices. But luckily it is not the case with Moto E and you can root it in an official manner.

How to root Moto E Officially

Motorola has embedded all the instructions (with complete information about rooting advantages, dis-advantages) on their official portal. You can get complete details from here.

Once you root your smartphone, you can head over to XDA portal for getting in touch with latest TWRPs, ROMs, 3rd party apps for Moto E. There on XDA you will find solution to every problem regarding your smartphone (you can also try new-new ROMs, apps from there). Frankly speaking then I hardly think that Moto E will need some custom ROM for now (as it already runs for Android KitKat). But yes if you have faced some issues with other segment (like processing part or some sub menu) then you can go for dedicated third party app that have the hold to that particular problem.
