After so long finally Videocon has launched one new Android smartphone in Indian market today. Dubbed as Videocon A29, it is stuffed with entry level specifications with entry level price sticker. It appears to be a decent quarter for Videocon as they have earlier released their quarter growth for current season which was carrying acceptable figures. They must be expecting lot with their upcoming smartphone Videocon A29 so let’s find out what features it is carrying and how it will perform when realized on price to value scale.

It comes with a 4 inch WVGA screen having 400x840 pixels resolution. Please don’t suppose it to provide vibrant color screen experience or something like. This 400x800 pixels resolution is not supposed to deliver high class vibrancy but it is surely a plus at this price tag. It runs on Android 4.2.2 Jellybean base which is acceptable at this tag. Talking about the crucial segment i.e. about processor then it comes with dual core 1.2 GHz processor that has been coupled with 512 MB RAM. Till now I have used single core processor with 512 MB RAM (from some other vendor). That phone was a complete miss but frankly speaking I don’t have any idea about what this processor pairing will result in. I hope it to deliver high class multi-tasking environment on 4 inch screen.
It also equips 3 MP rear and VGA front facing cameras. Both are good for this low price bar. Flash is also given which gives the freedom to capture moments in low light condition. It comes with 4 GB internal memory that has the option to get expanded up to 32 GB.
Connectivity wise you will not face any issues with V A29 as it houses all required tools that includes Wi-Fi, Bluetooth etc names. It supports dual SIMs with dual standby option. When it comes to battery then it houses a 1400 mAh battery that is supposed to charge it up for 4-5 hours only.
Videocon has added some useful apps like Opera Mini, YouTube, Email etc which comes preloaded with this phone.
Videocon A27 Price and Availability
Price of Videocon A27 in India is Rs. 5,799 which means it will retail at Rs. 6K club. These are ideal specs of this club and you will hardly find any better piece than V A27. So if you are looking for a reliable quality phone at Rs. 6K range then you should try Videocon A27 once.
