Official JZO54K based Android 4.1.2 ROM update for LG Optimus L5

LG Optimus L5 is now blessed with Android 4.1.2 JB update. This update is available in India and can be applied with usual OTA method. Well with this update, company has kept their promise which they did at Korea last year. Now they are upshifting most of the high end machines to Android 4.1.2 JB environment.

One thing which shocks here that they are still shifting to Android 4.1.2 JB whereas other giants are planning to adopt 4.2.1 or 4.2.2 JB for their high end machines. But something is better than nothing. If you own a Optimus L5 then you can update it with this official update.

This update is launched exclusively for E612 models. This phone was announced about a year back during February 2012. AT that time Android was not that popular and very few users were concerned about ROM updates and all. But everything is changed now.
