Install XXUBMF2 built Android 4.2.2 ROM on Galaxy Grand Duos

Samsung Galaxy Grand Duos has joined the league of Android 4.2.2 ROM. Grand Duos has received a custom ROM update which is built on XXUBMF2 firmware and is based on Android 4.2.2 JB environment. We are still waiting for official ROM but no one knows the exact date of official ROM. So till the time officials are busy in bringing the Android 4.2.2 ROM for Duos, you can have the taste of 4.2.2 JB through this custom ROM.

Well talking about the Galaxy Grand Duos then it is a 5 incher from Samsung which is pre-loaded with Android 4.1.2 OS. So this ROM is going to upgrade your overall system from 4.1.2 to 4.2.2 It means this ROM is going to stuff very high end latest features inside Duos which you might haven’t seen with any of the previous ROMs.

How to flash
This ROM can be flashed using Odin tool. But before any exercise, pleas have a look at these pre-requisites. Pre-requisites are very crucial from security point of view. After this follow these two steps:

Step 1
Download Odin and XXUBMF2 ROM package to your computer.

Step 2

The only new thing which you will need in this tutorial is Download mode boot. You can do it in this manner:

First turn OFF Grand Duos and turn it ON with pressing and holding Home and Vol. Down buttons. Means you need to use Power + Vol. Down + Home key combination together to boot to download mode. Download mode is the mode where Odin comes to play. After this you can get step by step instructions from above link.
