Spice Stellar Prime Mi-510 features and price details

After launching Coolpad Mi-515, Spice is soon going to launch another quad core phablet. Dubbed as Spice Stellar Prime Mi-510 it is going to be the next Spice flagship model.

Well talking about the overall features then it can be considered as the advanced version of Coolpad Mi-515. So now it is clear that Spice is targeting quad core league with quality low price gadgets. Other companies like Micromax, Karbonn, Lava etc are launching similar devices for Rs. 15K approx. tag which Spice is launching for only Rs 10 K tag (Coolpad). Also Spice is focusing well on frequency of its launches. They are bringing two back to back devices with little modifications. This strategy will surely keep mobile users excited about latest Spice phones.

Spice Stellar Prime Mi-510 specs
Stellar Prime Mi-510 comes with a 5 inch 480x840 pixels screen having FWVGA resolution. It supports capacitive touch input with sensitive touch facility. It runs on latest Android 4.2.2 Jellybean environment which keeps it on a higher edge than all other similar phones. It is powered by a quad core processor having 1.2 GHz clocking and 512 MB RAM. It is really hard to believe that they are giving Android 4.2 Jellybean stocked with 512 MB RAM only. It shows that like Mi-515, Mi-510 will too be a low range smartphone. But frankly, they shouldn’t have compromised in RAM. It should be of order 1 GB or 2 GB even, as that could have brought it closer to latest Micromax flagship Canvas 4. Nevertheless, its quad core CPU and 1.2 GHz clock is ready to give you a world class multi-tasking experience.

This phone comes with 8 MP AF rear (with LED flash) and 3.2 MP front facing camera. Its front camera comes with higher lens than usual phones (good thing). 4 GB onboard and 32 GB external memory options are there for storing good data volume.

It is a dual SIM phone which combines Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, 3.5 mm jack etc under one roof. Further it comes with Light, Proximity, Motion and G-sensors which are ready to give you a smooth automated experience. It holds a 2100 mAh battery which seems sufficient.

Price and availability
Though no official words about price of Spice Stellar Prime Mi-510 is available but by seeing its specs and previous Spice records I think it will be priced in Rs. 12,000-15,000 range.

Final words
Tis phone really impresses with all its specs except RAM. Don’t know why they have compromised with its RAM. It should be extended to 1 GB minimum. But still it will be a good buy if it comes under Rs. 13K roof.
