[How To] Official Android 4.1.2 update for Samsung Galaxy Music GT-S6010



As promised, Samsung has started rolling Android Jellybean update for Samsung Galaxy Music smartphone. This update is unveiled exclusively for GT-S6010 model. It is not an old piece from company it was announced just few months back in October 2012 (however it was listed for sale in India in December 2012) so it is not a very old piece especially for Indian audience.

Talking about Galaxy Music specs then it flaunts a 3 inch capacitive screen with 240x320 pixels resolution. It runs on Android 4.0 ICS OS with plethora of other features. This phone was launched for music loving audience. It delivers very high quality music experience as compared to other competitors.

Till now Samsung has brought Android 4.1 JB update for most of its entry level smartphones. One thing which puts Samsung ahead of its competitors is the timely updates. Secondly they are bringing JB for devices with 512 MB RAM only which is a complex task for developers.

Well feature wise, this ROM comes with all standard Jellybean features. It brings TouchWiz Nature UX interface to surface which improves overall smoothness of the phone. It comes with Project Butter UI which eventually increases speed of the system. It launches Google Now widget with lots of other high end features.

How to install Official Android 4.1.2 Jellybean on Samsung Galaxy Music
Samsung has just started rolling this update on global platform. It might take some days to reach to Indian market. Like all other updates, Samsung will launch it through OTA (Over the Air) method which will surely take some days for global coverage. No manual method about this update is available yet but stay tuned as developers will very soon unveil manual methods too.

You will automatically receive update notification on your home screen. After this you just need to follow some onscreen instruction (you will get all on your phone’s screen) and at the end you will left with clean high end Android Jellybean environment.

If you are not receiving any automatic alert/notification then you can manually check it from Settings>>About Phone>>Check for update path. It will show you all the available updates. You might also take help from nearby service center or Samsung Customer support.
