Lava Iris 455 houses a 4.5 inch screen with capacitive touch response and 960x540 pixels resolution. For a 4.5 incher, 960x540 pixel resolutions seem good and it will deliver high class displays. It runs on Android 4.1 Jellybean operating system which ensures high end software features like easy fast typing, improved tweaks, better transitions and notifications etc. It is powered by a 1GHz dual core processor with 512 MB RAM. Talking about MMX A91 Ninja then it comes with same processor but it is stuffed with poor resolution and older OS than Iris 455.
It is developed with 9.92 mm thickness and 120 grams weight. It supports dual SIMs with dual standby modes. It is wrapped with usual 4GB internal and 32 GB external memory chips. It comes with 5 MP AF camera and VGA front facing camera. Additionally it is packed with LED flash which can be used with camera for flashing purpose. Don’t know what relation is there in between Micromax and Lava but both the companies are giving head to head fights to each other. Just today, Micromax has unveiled A91 Ninja which runs on Android 4.0 ICS OS and is powered by a dual core 1GHz processor. Now its Lava’s turn, they have unveiled Lava Iris 455 today which runs on Android 4.1 JB OS and is powered by dual core 1 GHz processor.
Talking about the overall features then both the mobiles are stuffed with almost similar features. I am going to compare both the gadgets in my upcoming blog post. From specs Iris 455 seems to be a decent mobile which is tagged with unknown price tag.
