These days DataWind is facing lots of issues. Their first trouble is about delayed delivery of Aakash Tablets. I too have booked one piece about one and half years ago but I am still waiting for that. Secondly now Kapil Sibal is no longer a part of HRD ministry. He was doing well for publicizing Ubislate tablets. But like a true winner (don’t know why I am saying this), DataWind has again launched one new tablet in its UbiSlate series. Dubbed as UbiSlate 7C+ Edge it come with entry level specs. What else can be expected from DataWind. They are limiting their tablets with tight bundle of features only. All UbiSlate tablets come with almost similar specs for very minor price differences. 7C+ Edge is launched with Rs. 5,999 price and according to officials they will deliver it within 5 working days. Let’s hope they will stick to their words this time. If they somehow manage to improve their delivery department then they will soon do wonders with price oriented Indian customers.
