Details: Nokia 105, 301 launched with entry level features: a review
Nokia has launched a new Candy bar mobile phone at MWC 2013. Few years ago, Nokia was the only king in mobile world with its services all around the world. Later Android came and destroyed everything. But still Nokia is unbeaten hero in case of Candy Bar phones. One thing which disappoints me a lot about Nokia gadgets is similar functions. Whether you buy a 50$ mobile or 200$ mobile you will get almost similar features in both cases. However they will come with bit extended version but all are the features of gone days. All features are very basic like camera, torch light etc. Sadly Nokia is not walking with today’s trend. Now let me talk about Nokia’s performance in MWC 2013. Till now they have launched two basic phones. Dubbed as Nokia 105 and Nokia 301 both come with entry level specs and very affordable rate. Nokia 105 is ever cheapest mobile phone from Nokia. It is launched for just Rs. 15$ starting price which is really an awesome thing to check out. You can check out specs of both the phones from here.
Nokia 105 features
It is basically a talking purpose mobile phone which comes with very basic features. It highlights a color display with good numeric keypad. FM radio is equipped inside which can be a good option for entertainment at this price tag. Further talking clock, alarm, games, torch light adds some more comfort at such low cost. This phone will get ported globally. In India, it will cost approx. Rs. 900 ($15).
Nokia 301 features
Nokia 301 highlights bit better functions than 105. It comes with 2.4 inches color display with eye catching keypad design. It comes with Black, White, Yellow, magenta, cyan color options. 3.2 MP rear camera is there which can be a good choice for all camera lovers. It is reported from officials that its camera is inspired from Lumina phone which means that it will surely feature some amazing camera features which will enhance user’s experience to next level. It comes with internet option with Nokia Xpress Browser. It is launched for $65 (approx. Rs 4000).
Worth to buy or not?
Nokia means Trust and Reliability. Nokia mostly comes with entry level gadgets which are stuffed with very basic features. Both the phones come with good specs in accordance with their price. So according to me if you are planning for buying a mobile phone with low budget then both can be a good option for you (at respective price tags).

I'm a die hard fan of nokia irrespective of the technical issues.
ReplyDeleteI have purchased it as a second mobile nokia 105 (cyan) (not in flipkart, directly from retailer). I'm having my first phone nokia C2-01
review about 105: Found so stylish. the backside of the phone looks like a smart phone of nokia lumia series.Battery back up is very good, easy handling, good torch, easy access to everything. can add shortcuts in the go menu.
Best for the one who wants to spend time in relaxed manner, without fb, g+, videos, games and hefty internet usage. i feel, some or other time everyone will fall back to purchase basic phones to get rid of junk digital world.
Initally purchased Josh mobile through online at 600rs which has 0.3 mp camera, 4gb slot, videoplayer, bluetooth. but got problem in a week. returned the mobile to seller. Later thought to purchase some micromax, or celkon, lava at 1200/-. But previous experience didn't allow me to do same mistake. So, again back to my favorite brand and purchased this piece.
Getting featured mobile is not important, getting quality and value for money is important. So opt Nokia forever.
